Nosler 75055 SSA ballistic tip hunting 300 AAC blackout 220gr 20box/10case
SSA ammunition by Nosler is tuned specifically for use in semi-automatic firearms. It is loaded to pressures that reliably cycle semi-automatics for maximum dependability. SSA ammunition is exclusively loaded up front with Nosler bullets for unparalleled down range performance. The loaded rounds are visually inspected. Made in the USA. This 300 AAC blackout ammo is loaded with Nosler’s ballistic tip hunting bullet to be very predictable and extremely forgiving. The fully tapered jacket and special lead alloy core allow controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. A heavy jacket base prevents bullet deformation during firing and acts as a platform for large diameter mushroom. The solid base boat-tail design, combined with the polycarbonate tip, dramatically increases long-range ballistic efficiency making it an excellent choice for deer and hog hunting. It requires a 1:8" twist.

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) was developed in 2009/2010 by Advanced Armament Corporation and approved by Sporting Arms and Ammunition Institute (SAAMI) in 2011. Based on the 223 Remington case necked up to 30-caliber, it was intended for the M4 Carbine and designed to function in standard AR15/M16 magazines. Thus converting an AR to 300 AAC Blackout requires nothing more than an upper receiver group. Dimensionally it is identical to the 300 Whisper, but the 300 Blackout is fully standardized. Supersonic and subsonic ammunition is manufactured, with a 125-grain bullet producing 2215 feet per second, while the subsonic load uses a heavier bullet at much lower velocity: 220-grain bullet at 1080 fps. Military applications are obvious; as a sporting cartridge performance is similar to the 7.62x39. —
