The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 218 Bee was introduced by Winchester in 1938. Based on the 32-20 case necked down, with a 46-grain bullet at 2760 feet per second it is a bit faster than the 22 Hornet, but is not as popular. The 218 Bee was originally introduced in the Winchester Model 65, a modernization of the lever-action Model 1892. In recent years it has been chambered to some bolt actions and single shots, and Winchester continues to offer a factory load. —
